UVic Student Wellness Centre
What is it? UVic’s Wellness Centre offers same-day or pre-booked appointments with counsellors, nurses, physicians, or spiritual care providers. Access to the UVic Eating Disorder Clinic is also available on referral.
How do I access it? You can book a same-day 30-45 minutes Wellness Consultation by calling 250-721-8563. This is the fastest way to get in to see someone. You can also pre-book a counselling session, doctor’s or nurse’s visit by going to the front counter or calling the Centre, but there may be a delay between your call and your first appointment. As of Fall 2021, Counselling services are being offered virtually (via Zoom) and in-person, according to your preference.

SupportConnect
What is it? On-demand counselling available 24/7 by phone or online, for UVic students.
How do I access it? Phone 1-844-773-1427 or International collect calls at 1-250-999-7621. Access SupportConnect online at: https://www.advantageengagement.com/1545/login_company_vip.php. The Login ID is UVic and the Password is Student.
UVic First Peoples House
What is it? The First Peoples House provides a place for community building and social, cultural and academic guidance for Indigenous students at UVic. Students can access Indigenous counselling services, Talking Circles, and Elders in Residence.
How do I access it? Indigenous counselling is accessed through Counselling Services (see above). Elders in Residence are available Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Elders’ Lounge (FPH 112).

UVic Residence Services
What is it? If you live in residence, Residence Services offers a variety of activities to support student well-being. Your Community Leader (CL) can serve as an important point of contact if you or a friend need support or are in crisis.
How do I access it? CLs live in each residence neighbourhood. You can call the CL Help Phone Sunday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. The phone numbers are:
